Call for heating discrepancies in upstairs equipment. Overall a poor thermostat location given the location and heating and cooling needs of the conditioned spaces are a fair distance from the actual measured temperature at thermostat. Recommended using a smart thermostat with sensors to better control temperature for those affected rooms. Ecobee thermostat installed with 2 sensors. One sensor not paired due to the need to use the Ecobee app running through the the pairing process one the app is pretty self explanatory and once downloaded it should be a breeze to get connected. Downstairs unit humidifier had the set screw off and the panel wouldn’t close panel switch appropriately. Found the set screw and mounted the panel on and it began humidifying. Signed up HVAC Equipment up on WSC maintenance plan. Equipment up and running on departure. If Ecobee is installed onto downstairs unit depending on wires for thermostat we could potentially run the humidifier off of the thermo

I performed a tuneup on one furnace and completed health report card. During tuneup I found that everything was operating correctly factory spec and there’s no carbon monoxide entering the home. The system is only one year old and did not have any issues. The system does not have a surge protector which I recommend it to the customer and they did not want to move forward with this recommendation at this time. I watch the system run four 20 to 25 minutes before leaving and it was operating correctly when I left.

Furnace tune up refer to health inspection report form. Overall system is showing its age. Blower cabinet is dirty and ideally should be cleaned to help promote health for the motor and its ability to cool and move air appropriately. Some heat stress signs on heat exchangers rivets but no cracks or breaches observed something we will want to keep an eye on over the next couple years if we keep existing equipment. Inducer motor is over amping and may decide to kick the bucket over this next heating season given current condition of motor. Static pressure is high and system has been dumbed down in gas content to help from overheating because of poor airflow conditions. Even when adjusted slightly it tripped the high limit so brought it back down so it wouldn’t any longer. Given current conditions of equipment recommend looking over options as far as replacement is concerned vs nickeling and diming it along. Recommendations on preventative maintenance refer to estimates.

Furnace tune up refer to health inspection report form. System is 27 years old and is very dirty inside the blower motor and from view to evaporator coil from blower cabinet there is some dirt and debris up in the coil. Blower motor itself does have some sign of oil around the shaft, this is age sign and once those bearings dry out there will be issue with it being able to run appropriately. Flame sensor measuring low this flame sensor is likely going to be a little difficult to find given its age this isn’t something that’s stocked on vans any longer because most of these types of furnaces aren’t around any longer. Heat exchangers have a bulge up at the top and from the looks of it they very well may not last longer and once cracks begin to form the potential of CO being introduced into airflow. System while running was having on and off spurts investigating the why the roll out switch appears to have cracked, brittle plastic due to age, and periodically the switch indicates op

I preformed 3 furnace tune ups today. From the attic unit the only thing that i found causing issues is bad filters blocking airflow. Once the filter gets replaced everything will be running appropriately. From the main floor the only issue i found was the filer is bad and in need of changing. Once changed everything will be running just fine. From the basement unit i found that there was bad airflow through the furnace. The cause of this is that the unit is a 5 ton unit sting on the ground pulling through a 1” filter. The bad airflow is causing the furnace to overheat, if the furnace over heats to much we risk cracking the heat exchangers and introducing carbon monoxide into the home. My recommendation is to have an airflow assessment done and to put the system on an airbase and put a 4” filter cabinet in just like the main floor unit does. Brian decided to have the assessment done but was on an important meeting while i was here. I will have the office reach out to schedule t

Furnace tuneup and health inspection. Adjusted gas pressure to get appropriate calculated heat content into the home on high fire, output was initially sitting at 74,000 btu the rated output is 85,000 btu. System is testing well within manufacturer specifications throughout. System would benefit from warranty protection devices and additional indoor air quality products like and air purifier. Recommendations refer to estimates.

Came too check too see if furnace was sized correctly for the home. Load calculation shows sizing is correct. What I found wrong is the temperature difference between return air and supply is too low. Along with the airflow is not setup correctly. Will have a technician come too do proper setup gas pressure and airflow.

I responded to a no cool call. Upon inspection I found that the fan motors bearing are seized. The system is from 1999, I recommended replacement over repair but Sean wanted to go ahead with the new motor and agreed to pay the after hours fee for the parts house to get the motor. When I returned to out the motor in I found that the fan blades were rusted to the motor and I was unable to get them off. Sean agreed to replacing the blades as well, i will have to call around tomorrow to get the blades but have collected half of total today. 9-9 I returned today to install fan motor and blades. The unit is up and running properly now. AC was running when I left.

I responded to a no cool call today. Tenant stated that the fan motor was no turning on but when he pushed the blades with a screw driver the motor started up. When I arrived the system was off, i asked the tenant to turn the breaker back on as the disconnect is locked shut. When the power was turned back on the system kicked on just fine. I took amp measurements and no thing was over amping. When I took the corner panel off everything was covered in lint do to the dryer exhaust being right next to the condenser. I tested the capacitor and it was reading just fine. I tested the thank motor and it was reading high resistance in the windings. When the winding start reading such high resistance they will begin to heat up and eventually melt and brake the connection needed. Along with the winding an audible clicking can be heard coming from the motor. I believe this is from the bearings inside the fan motor. I believe that they are what it causing the high resistance in the windings and w

Installed new 90% modulating Furnace, evaporator coil, and inverter condenser. We set furnace on a new box and installed an April air 1510 filter rack. We updated the gas line by adding a drip leg. We installed a plug/switch combo. Make sure that the furnace and coil head slope and ran new drains. We installed a new air scrubber in the supply. We installed an ecobee thermostat. We did not need to set gas pressures because the gas valve sets it for itself. On the outside we set the condenser on a new pad and leveled it with gravel. We flush the line set with RX 11. We pressure tested the system at 400 psi and then vacuum down the system down to 500 µm both tests were good and the system has no leaks. We kept the old disconnect box but ran a new AC web with a 30 amp breaker to protect the system. We weighed in the charge based on the amount of wine set there was. Both heating and cooling functions works properly while testing it on the ecobee thermostat. We were able to help the custome

System not coming on at all. No air coming from the vents. System power switch on the side of the furnace was shut off. Turn it on and system came on. Tested temp split and had a 20 degree temp split. Recommended 18-22 degrees difference. Recommend tune ups to be done on the systems and filters to be changed more often. Systems running when i left.

Came out for full system tune up. System is a 2018 Lennox. Found there was no hard start kit on condenser this can help prolong life of ac. Found capacitor for outdoor unit is testing at a 11% over. This cannot exceed 5%. Found blower wheel need to be cleaned. Found no other issues with the ac today see health report. Furnace tune up found all electrical components are testing properly and working properly. Found no cracks in the heat exchangers. Found the furnace is burning clean. Found no co in supply duct work. Found no issues with furnace today, see health report card. System was working properly when I left the call. Wasn’t able to finish haven install today because of software issues Jackie will get back to us if I need to return to help finish the setup. 60 full full system tune up per Ryan.

I performed an AC tune up on a 2016 Goodman system. The system is working properly. The condenser coil outside is building up some dirt it could use a cleaning next season. The capacitor is testing below factory specs. And it could use a Hard start kit. See health report card for more details.

I performed a furnace tune up on a 2006 Armstrong system. The system is working but is not in a good shape. The temperature split is bad the heat exchanger is very rusted, signs that is been overheating for quite a while. I adjusted the gas pressure from 3.49 to 2.08 to bring the supply temperature from 190F to 169F. I checked for CO and there is no CO in the supply ducts. I started a furnace tuneup on 2016 Amana system but it has a bad inducer motor. I need to find and order one. I’ll comeback to finish this tuneup once I have the part. I replaced the inducer motor under warranty and performed a furnace tuneup. The system is working properly with no concerns at this. See health report card for more details

Maintenance plan AC tuneup. Performed full detail AC tune up. All areas of the 29 point inspection scored in the green with the exception of the AC capacitor. Customer would like to get as much life out of the system as possible. To help reach this goal recommended replacing the capacitor and adding a hard start kit to the AC. Also recommend cleaning the blower wheel, motor, mounting hardware and housing.

Easton Frisby Did a fantastic job on maintenance and repair of our furnace. He answered many of my questions that were very complicated and couldn’t be answered by previous HVAC technicians from other companies. I hate paying money for things like air conditioner and heating maintenance, but they did such a good job that I signed up for a maintenance plan.
