When my furnace went out I thought for sure a technician would come and say I needed a new unit. Parker, who has a wonderful personality,made me comfortable when he came in the door..After checking out the unit he said everything tested fine so it may just be the thermostat. Well, that was the problem. He offered to use his thermostat to make sure that was the problem and said we could buy our own and install it, if we wished and the cost for the service call would be $49. We chose to have Parker install the thermostat and also bought a annual service plan. I am so impressed with this company and Parker. I will never call another company!!!! Thank you Western for the great service, price and service technician, Parker.....

I responded to a no heat call today. When I arrived I found the system was in lock out mode. I cleared the lock out and watched the system start up and found that the flame sensor was not able to read the flame. I cleaned it off and it was able to sense the flame but is getting a low reading. I also found that while the igniter is beginning to crack and believe that this will cause an issue this winter if not addressed today. I also read through the previous techs notes and found that he found the capacitor was bad. I tested it again today to be sure and found that it is about 30% out of spec. It is rated to only be able to get 6% out of its factory charge. The lower the charge gets the less likely we are to have the blower motor start and could burn it out. While the capacitor is not part of the problem today I would recommend replacing it at this time with both the igniter and flame sensor as it would be cheaper to do all three at once saving you roughly $200. At the minimum today

Completed furnace tune up on system , up stairs system needs some work done to it. Quoted customer prices of the work need to get unit running back up to standards . Customer will reach out to the office to figure out which estimate would work for them .

We were called out today to look at a furnace that was not firing up. The furnace did not start without help (spinning the inducer). After the furnace started up, I performed a thorough tuneup and dialed in the gas pressure and carbon monoxide levels. I shut the furnace down and restarted it numerous times over an hour long period to make sure the system ran without issues. Furnace running upon departure.

Performed furnace tune up. System is running well. Burner housing had a lot of sheet rock dust. Vacuumed and whipped everything down. System is running fully within specs. Checked humidifier and the pad is still good. Turn humidistat back to the off Position. There were some bees that came down through the flue. I checked to see if I could see a nest with my snake camera. I did not see a nest anywhere. System is up and functional for winter. Set system back to original temps before leaving.

Furnace not working. Found that there was still a piece of the bird nest from last time stuck inside the flue. This was preventing the inducer motor to move enough air and close the pressure switch. Cut out a 10 foot section from the middle of the venting. Using a dryer vent brush cleaned all three sections of the vent to remove any debris.

I came out to Luke’s property today to take a look at his gas line for his new dryer. The line was not added in but was pre existing and just not being used so the system should be fine to handle the appliance. Luke and his father hooked up a flex line from the existing line to the new dryer, upon inspection I found that the line was leaking and didn’t have a drip leg on it. I told Luke about what I had found and the benefit of having the drip leg and he approved the installation of one. When I took the flex line apart, added the drip leg, and put it back together the leak had been fixed. What was causing the leak originally was the flex nuts not being tightened all the way and an adaptor on the dryer had the flex hose adapter on it and was unable to seal properly due to the dryer adapter not being long enough. I removed the flex adapter and attached the flex directly to the dryer adapter and the leak had stopped. I recommend a drip leg be put on the water heater as well to help

Installed new control board for zone system and installed new dual run capacitor in the AC.

Replaced wall switch. Tested wires to make sure they were not grounding. Wires all tested well. Fire place could use a good tune up. You didn’t want to do that today. You said in the fall you would sign up on the WSC for both fireplaces. System is up and running. Took video to show switch’s working for the fan and for the fire. System is up and running when I left.

Wire to the high limit switch was loose. Connected it back. System came right on. Fan and everything works from switch’s. Talked to you about adding the fire places to the WSC. You want to sign them up in the fall when you renew.system up and running when i left.

The 2011 bryant ac was not working. The compressor would not turn on. I added a hard start, ac renew, and a new filter. I also installed 3 thermostats that the customer bought. The ac was running when I left. If the system stops working again we will need to replace the compressor. They want an estimate to replace the compressor. I emailed it to the email on file. Have ben replace the compressor if they need it done.

Came out for furnace making loud noise. Found the set screw for the motor was missing and the shaft was moving where it wanted to move and making noise. Blower was also dirty. So I gave the blower wheel cleaning piece to fix and to clean. I also performed a 30 point ac tune up. Found the LRA is high when compressor comes on. Static pressure is high due to filter being a 1†recommended we upgrade that. Refrigerant levels were a little off but the temp split was good recommend adding at least a pound to get those numbers good. I replaced filter. All other components are testing properly and working properly. Ac was working when I left the call.

Came to residence for double ac tune-up on two '15 Day and Night ac systems. Equipment functional upon arrival. Upon inspection of the basement indoor unit, I found the 20x20x1 filter was dirty and replaced it. All the internals are clean. All electrical and mechanical components are operating properly. All electrical, static pressure, and temperature measurements are within manufacturer specifications at this time. The unit is cooling and running well. The upstairs indoor unit is also running very well. The 20x20x1 filter is pretty clean and didn't need replacing. All internals are clean and all parts and measurements are within their proper ranges. Moving to the outdoor condensers, I found both are in very good shape. They are the same model and so all the specifications are the same and many of my measurements were the same or very similar. Upon arrival spoke with customer about loud fan noise. After check amp draws and refrigerant and visual inspection notice that fan was operating fine amp draw of 1.2 with rated draw of 2.2 no visual oil leak had an appearance on fan. After my full system check notice we were a little flat on refrigerant ad about there lbs of 22 to system. No refrigerant leaks were visible at the time of troubling . System is about 20 years old very inefficient at this point customer would like to have comfort advisor consult pricing a new unit . All ops were normal at this time . Temp split of 70 / 53.8

System not cooling due to low refrigerant. System has been charged in the past so it appears that there is a leak. While performing my leak search I found a faulty factory joint. I brazed the joint while flowing nitrogen, pressure tested unit, vacuumed down the system and re charged with refrigerant. Unit is now opposed properly at this time.
