Came out for prepaid WSC tuneup. Furnace is a 2011 Lenox. I did a general cleaning of the furnace parts including the flame sensor. All electrical components are testing properly and working properly. Filter and humidifier pad need to be replaced Katie and Erik will take care of this. Everythingâ€˜s really clean the blower and coil. Furnace is burning efficiently. I found no cracks in the heat exchanger. There is no CO coming from furnace. See health report card for questions. Furnace was working when I left the home.
Upon arrival spoke with customer about loud humming noising coming from furnace. l found inducer motor making a loud noise and over amping . Replaced motor under warranty with Lennox , warranty wasnâ€™t approved on the spot . If warranty claims is approved customer will receive a credit of 283.40.
I performed a tuneup on one furnace and completed a health report card which I photographed and gave the physical copy to the customer. The furnace was found to be operating correctly and everything was found to be within factory specifications. The filter was dirty and needed to be replaced, the customer had a filter already and I replaced that for him. The system does not have a surge protector or a wet switch and at this time I recommend a warranty protection package which would provide these items and help protect the system. I checked the heat exchanger which did not show signs of cracking or rusting and I checked for carbon monoxide entering home and found that there was no carbon monoxide. I watched the furnace run for 10 to 15 minutes before leaving and it was operating correctly when I left. I also reset the thermostat to the customers desired settings.
I performed an Ac tune up on a 2019 Carrier system. The system is doing its job but is working really hard doing it. The main problem with this system is airflow due to the zone dampers installed. The static pressure in zone systems is usually higher than normal. To address this issue we would need to install a filter rack for better filtration and airflow, clean the blower wheel, and change the motor for a variable speed motor. The system is new and with proper maintenance I donâ€™t see any problems happening any time soon, but by the current performance this system life will be shorter than usual. I was called for a no cool. The system is a 2018 Day&Night, upon inspection I found the compressor capacitor to be dead. A possible cause was that the connection were not properly tightened. After replacing the capacitor I tested the refrigerant and the AMP draw, the system is amping high and that could also cause the breaker to trip or over extended the capacitor. I recommend a Hard Start Kit to help address this issue.
Call no cool. Static Pressure All Zones Return-.13 After Filter-.60 Before Coil-.20 Supply-.08 Total External Static-.80 this is best case scenario with all zones open. Static Pressure Zone 1 Call Return-.13 After Filter-.60 Before Coil-.18 Supply-.05 Total External Static-.78 Static Pressure Zone 2 Call Return-.13 After Filter-.53 Before Coil-.37 Supply-.22 Total External Static-.90 Verified airflow clean filter and clean evaporator coil. Checked refrigerant charge and it is low on refrigerant. Checked braze joints to make sure there are no physical signs of leak none found. Leak is somewhere or equipment was never appropriately charged. More likely that of a leak because equipment comes charged from the factory and we donâ€™t have an abnormally long line set leading to indoor coil. Temperature split is good but reason being is TXV is doing its job in trying to get equipment to cool appropriately the problem is the refrigerant saturation temperature is so low it is beginning to fr
2018 Goodman condenser unit not turning on. Capacitor readings: Factory 45+5 Actual 0+5 Installed new capacitor. Unit is now working. Checked the charge and airflow. No other issues were found. Unit is still under manufacturer warranty.
Found unit not operating today due to a faulty blower motor. After a short while running motor would begin to cut out intermittently. Verified constant power was being supplied to the blower motor. Control board is sending the right signals. Blower motor is faulty. Replaced blower motor today system is up and running properly at this time.
I preformed a first year free AC tune up today. The filter is bad and in need of replacing. I didnâ€™t have the correct size and he didnâ€™t have any filters. The static is bad due to this but once the filter is changed then the static will be just fine. AC was running when i left.

Came out for a ac tune up. Ac is a 2019 that we installed. Found no issues with system today. I replaced filter which was provided. Humidifier need to be replace before next furnace season. Complete ac tune ups cleaned blower wheel and added surge protector
Call no heat. Power coming to indoor and outdoor units but system was not coming on. Went outside and suspected there potentially to be a leak, used refrigerant detector and did not find anything with meter and out gauges on to see if there was any red flags with pressure readings and system is basically flat with no refrigerant inside. Ideally before we just start adding refrigerant into the unit and having it leak out again we locate where the leak is and fix it at that point. In order to do this we would want to perform a nitrogen pressure test and then vacuum the line set down and has long as the line set passes those tests we can begin adding refrigerant. Recommendations on repairs refer to estimates.
