Danny invited us out for a furnace and AC tune up today! Both systems were installed by us about 3 years ago now and everything is functioning very well. I made the recommendation to add a surge protector to the system to fully protect the warranty on the system. I also made the recommendation to add a hard start to the AC side of the system.

AC Tune Up refer to health inspection report, unit also not cooling well. On arrival evaporator coil was frozen with a thin layer of ice. Filter was dirty replaced with a new one to check the airflow, thawed out the coil and began tune up. Blower motor compartment is very dirty and really ought to be cleaned. With the way that it is at the moment there’s likely issues with moving air efficiently and a dusty environment does not attribute to reliability on motor and control board. Coil once thawed does have some debris inside of it and would benefit from being cleaned. Capacitor for the blower motor is showing a 13% drop in its capacity this can cause issue with reliability of the motor and may lead to premature failure of motor itself. System overall is showing its age high static pressure doesn’t help and the indoor units cleanliness calls reliability and overall efficiency into question.
